Thank you for visiting my website. I am honored to have the opportunity to represent and serve the people of House District 51 in Larimer County.
Like many of you, I am worried about the direction our state government is moving. The majority of Colorado citizens and businesses have had to make deep cuts and prioritize their spending to make ends meet. Even though citizens are struggling financially, we see our government continue to spend and refuse to prioritize its spending.
I am a small business owner in Loveland. Every year I see firsthand how laws and regulations passed make it more difficult to operate a small business and keep the doors open. Small businesses are the backbone of our economy and our free market society. These new regulations and fees negatively impact small business and in turn affect employees with layoffs and business closures. We must create an environment where business growth is supported and the development of new jobs is encouraged.
Attacking the middle class and small businesses makes no sense, especially given our current economic condition. More taxation and more regulations are not the way to end a recession.
I support the philosophy of limiting government and protecting personal rights for all citizens. I joined the state legislature because I believed it was time to make a change in the direction our state was heading. I believe the middle class deserves to have a strong voice. I decided to get involved to take a stand for small business and middle class citizens, so their voice can be heard in the legislature.
Colorado and the Loveland area is a great place to live and raise a family, and together we can make it even better.
If you are interested in learning more about me, current issues, or different ways you can get involved, please look around my website. If you have any comments or if you would like to discuss any issues with me, please contact me.
I look forward to hearing from you.
