I was born and raised in Cheyenne, Wyoming. After graduating from high school in Cheyenne, I joined the Wyoming Air National Guard, where I proudly served for 6 years. While I was going to college in Cheyenne, I served for one session as a legislative aid in the Wyoming State Legislature, and that's where my passion for politics began.
While attending college I began delivering pizzas to pay my bills. The owner of the company quickly recognized my leadership skills and asked me to join their management program. I progressed quickly to become a general manager, a supervisor, and eventually became the operations director for a 20 store Domino's Pizza Franchise. I was responsible for over 300 employees, and was accountable for all financial aspects of this multimillion dollar a year company. This included setting up and following budgets, company-wide and for individual locations.
After many years, the company for which I worked decided to downsize, and I was able to purchase three of their locations. I have owned two locations in Loveland and one in Windsor for over four years. My wife and I operate our three stores.
I am married to my wife Amber and I have 3 children, Andara, Bransen, and Breeley.
I am active in my local church, where I am in charge of the audio team.
I am a certified volunteer for the Department of Corrections, and I serve on the board for a local prison ministry group Warriors for Christ. We go to various prisons around the state to play worship concerts and minister to offenders.
